These solutions include reforestation, afforestation, forest conservation, and ecosystem restoration projects that not only capture carbon but also provide co-benefits like biodiversity conservation and community livelihoods.

Reforestation
Planting trees in areas that were previously forested, restoring degraded landscapes and sequestering carbon.
Afforestation
Establishing forests in areas that have not been forested for a long period, creating new carbon sinks.
Forest Conservation
Protecting existing forests from deforestation and degradation, preserving stored carbon and preventing emissions.
